Bradford has been named Curry Capital of Britain 2012. Bradford is said to have "hung on to its title by the narrowest of margins" after receiving the same number of points from the judges as Glasgow. We were delighted to be able to participate in a recent Bradford Schools project. Bradford primary school children were asked to create stories and artwork featuring the Aagrah Restaurant mascot, Lulu the Elephant. British Curry Awards, which took place on Monday, 26th November 2012 at Battersea Evolution in London, dazzled even more brightly than ever before. Aagrah’s 30th Annual Charity Business Dinner 2012 raised a staggering £70,000. The event was attended by 400 influential business guests was a resounding success. Held at the magnificent Midpoint Suite, the theme for this year’s Aagrah Dinner centered on Bradford as a major city of headquarters, with more companies having their headquarters based in Bradford and outside of London.
